It takes some getting used and is larger than it appears, you lose the nimbleness of the smaller scooper but after a while you can appreciate its a level up ; )

I know I just got this but the other reviews are true. It's very hard plastic kinda like a the plastic of a high quality plastic laundry basin/bath. The teeth are sharp and fit together perfectly leaving no gaps. And yes they get right under the pop. I already put another in the basket for my favourite uncle who has three fully grown German Shepherds. Lol he is really going through it guys. He needs this more than we do. We have a small dog. It will last very very long.
